StormGuessr is a daily browser game about historic tornadoes. The core game is free to play. We also offer an optional paid subscription, StormGuessr Pro, that unlocks additional game modes and difficulty levels. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the game grows.

You can play signed out, but an account lets you save streaks, stats, and history. You may sign in with an email link or with Google. Keep your sign in secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe someone else is using it.

StormGuessr Pro is billed through Stripe, our payment processor. You can choose a monthly or an annual plan. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and you will keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.

Prices are shown before you subscribe. If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before the change applies to you. Taxes may apply depending on where you live. Refund and cancellation details are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Please play fairly. Do not attempt to cheat, manipulate scores or leaderboards, scrape the site, reverse engineer the game, overload our systems, or access parts of the service you are not meant to. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or harm other players.

StormGuessr is made for entertainment and education. The historical storm details, clues, and facts are researched in good faith, but we make no guarantee that every detail is complete or accurate. Nothing in the game is weather forecasting, safety guidance, or emergency information. For real weather safety, rely on official sources such as the National Weather Service.

StormGuessr is an entertainment product. Live radar, outlooks, warnings, and any real-time data shown in Storm Day Mode come from public sources and are provided on an as is basis; they may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Predictions and scores are part of a game and are never official forecasts. Do not use StormGuessr to make safety or emergency decisions. For real warnings and life-safety information, rely on the National Weather Service (weather.gov), NOAA Weather Radio, and your local emergency officials.

You may play the daily game without an account at any age, and we collect no personal data from no-account play. To create an account, store personal data, or make a payment you must be at least 13 years old. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

StormGuessr is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Storm Prediction Center, or any government agency. Public weather data is used under those agencies’ open-data terms; the underlying data is in the public domain.

The game, its code, design, branding, and original content belong to StormGuessr. Playing the game does not transfer any ownership to you. You may share your own results and the share images the game generates.

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, StormGuessr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use StormGuessr after a change means you accept the updated terms.
